The seconds turn into decades, always surrounded by those who will never truly know me. I am casting fragments of my soul across the winds and currents of time, dreaming that my true love will find me, touch me, remember me. She found me once for the briefest moment of time and admired me then released me and let her tears wash me away. Alas as the final fragments of my soul disappear caught in the inescapable vortex of eternity. The essence of my being is trapped inside a frozen moment of time, still, quiet, perfect and forgotten.
