I did it for her.
She never got the chance to go,
becoming a mother so young.
Missing the last years altogether,
as her stomach began to grow.
I did it for her.
She was fifteen and a half, as it were.
With so much learning left to know,
becoming a mother so young.
I didn’t want to make a stir
and cause a big row.
I did it for her.
Preparations a mad whir-
wind of running to and fro.
Becoming a mother so young.
When I was finally ready, her smile was never
brighter. Brilliant in show.
I did it for her,
becoming a mother so young.
